Lake County judges to be sworn in Feb. 23

Three Lake County judges are scheduled to be sworn in at a public ceremony Tuesday, Feb. 23. Attorney Charles Smith, Associate Judge Christopher Stride and Associate Judge Christen Bishop will take their oaths as full circuit judges. The ceremony will start at 2 p.m. in courtroom 201 at the Lake County courthouse, 18 N. County St., Waukegan. The oath of office will be administered by Illinois Supreme Court Justice Robert Thomas.
