How to donate water for Flint residents

A truck traveling from Arkansas to Flint, Michigan, is making a stop in Elgin Thursday to collect cases of bottled water for Flint residents.

Organized by 17-year-old Allison Stratman, a St. Edward Central Catholic High School student, a donation station will be set up from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the Taylor Family Branch YMCA, 50 N. McLean Blvd.

Through Sunday, monetary donations are being accepted at gofundme.com/8qmhn2yk.
