A key difference between religions
The belief that the Islam's Allah is the same God that Christians worship is not controversial. It's simply and obviously incorrect.
The Christian faith, as made clear by the Bible and the early church fathers at the Council of Nicaea, shows us that God made himself known to us in three persons (The Trinity). God the Father, God the Holy Spirit, and God the Son via the Incarnation of Jesus.
Jesus himself made this clear in the Gospels. It is not God the Son via Muhammad. Islam does not recognize the deity of Jesus, simply that he is a prophet in a long line of prophets.
Christians worship Jesus as God, Islam does not.
