Lenten Services Begin February 10 at Immanuel Lutheran

Immanuel Lutheran in Palatine will be holding six midweek Lenten Worship Services beginning with Ash Wednesday, February 10 and continuing each Wednesday through March 16. Two worship service formats will be offered: a combination Bible Study/Worship at 4:30 p.m. and a more traditional worship service at 7:00 p.m.

Each service in this series focuses on a word to consider while living Lent as Easter people. We will highlight the ways in which the passion narratives of Christ take on more significant meaning for us when we see them through the lens of the empty tomb. Each service helps us see that we are always alive in Christ, who died and was raised.

Everyone is welcome and you do not need to be a member to attend.

Immanuel Lutheran Church & School is located at 200 North Plum Grove Road (at Wood Street) in downtown Palatine, just two blocks east of the Palatine Metra Train Station.
