Free tax prep for seniors in Elk Grove Village

Seniors age 60 and over and those with low to moderate incomes may sign up at the Sheila Ray Adult Center in Elk Grove Village to have their 2015 federal and state income tax returns prepared for free, officials said.

The service is offered through IRS-AARP Tax-Aide Service. Tax returns will be prepared on Wednesdays and Fridays from Feb. 3 through April 15 at 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. A photo ID is required.
