The Cook County medical examiner's office determined a 78-year-old Arlington Heights man died from hypothermia and exposure to cold.
Marvin Miller of the 800 block of East Thorntree Terrace was found outside his home early Thursday. Cardiovascular disease was a contributing cause of death, the office said. The death was ruled accidental.
