Seize the Future Development Foundation is now Invest Aurora

Seize the Future Development Foundation, Aurora's economic development partnership, is now Invest Aurora.

The city of Aurora launched a branding initiative in early 2015, revealing a new logo at the State of the City event. Subsequently, Seize the Future Development Foundation sought to rebrand as well, with a focus to more closely align the name and look of the organization with its mission - to grow the economic vitality of the city of Aurora. As such, the board of directors chose to rebrand the organization as Invest Aurora.

"Seize the Future is a great inspirational name," said David Hulseberg, president and CEO of Invest Aurora. "However, with the city's rebranding, we chose this time to rename the organization to Invest Aurora as it more accurately describes our mission and is more closely allied to Aurora's new branding."

Aurora Mayor Tom Weisner supports the branding change.

"Seize the Future has certainly been busy seizing the future - the city saw a 21 percent increase in building permits issued in 2015 with a record valuation of over a half-billion dollars," Weisner said. "Changing its name and brand to Invest Aurora will make it abundantly clear to businesses that, if they wish to grow with our dynamic city, Invest Aurora should be their first stop."
