Immanuel Lutheran to Hold Community STEAM Night Feb. 2
Have fun with Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math!
Immanuel Lutheran in Palatine will hold a "STEAM" night for the entire community on February 2 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. STEAM is an acronym for "Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math." On February 2, Busy Brains Children's Museum will bring their traveling exhibits to Immanuel, and Immanuel's teachers also have fun, yet educational, activities planned.
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) Night introduces children to creative and critical thinking skills in fun, hands-on activities. Immanuel Lutheran School's classrooms - preschool through 8th grade - will be the site for a variety of different experiments and challenges all based around the STEAM framework.
Immanuel's teachers and staff will be stationed at the exhibits and around the building to explain the different activities and to answer any questions. STEAM night is for preschoolers through 8th graders and their parents/caregivers. Bring the whole family for a night of exciting, interactive learning!
