Winter Walk on Feb. 13 to help Wayside Cross Ministries

Wayside Cross Ministries is planning its 10th annual winter walk, "Walk a Mile in My Shoes," on Saturday, Feb. 13, to support Urban Youth Ministry, Wayside's ministry for at-risk youth, and Lifespring, the ministry's transitional living center for women and women with children.

New this year, the pre-Valentine's Day walk also will feature a post-event pancake breakfast.

The one-mile winter walk begins and ends at the John R. Harkness Family Center, 60 S. Fourth St., Aurora. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. with a prompt step-off at 9 a.m. A post-walk pancake breakfast will follow the walk until 11 a.m.

Complete the online registration page and raise or donate $100 or more to receive a free T-shirt. The top group and individual walk fundraisers will receive special recognition.
