West Aurora to induct six into Hall of Fame

West Aurora High School will induct six new members into the West Aurora Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday in the school gym.

The 2016 inductees are Jordan Garrison-Real (class of 2000), Natalie Matko (2000), Stephanie Matko (2000), Jackie Shook-Weaver (2000), JaRod Tobler (2000), and Gordon Kerkman (coach).

The event begins with a community reception at 4:30 p.m. in the lower cafeteria. The induction ceremony will take place between the sophomore and varsity boys basketball games at approximately 6:45 p.m.

Natalie and Stephanie Matko excelled in tennis, Garrison-Real in basketball and volleyball, Shook-Weaver in basketball, Tobler in track and field, and Kerkman was a longtime varsity boys basketball coach.
