Werder Bremen signs Hungary's Laszlo Kleinheisler
BREMEN, Germany (AP) - Werder Bremen says it has signed Hungary midfielder Laszlo Kleinheisler from Videoton.
The Bundesliga club revealed Wednesday that Kleinheisler has penned a contract until mid-2019.
Kleinheisler took part in Werder's training camp in Turkey last week and played in a friendly.
Werder offered U.S. forward Jordan Morris a contract but the 21-year-old rejected the deal in favor of playing in his homeland.
Werder faces a battle to avoid relegation when the Bundesliga season resumes this weekend.
The club is 16th in the table, one point adrift of Hannover 96, which occupies the final relegation spot, with bottom-place Hoffenheim only two points adrift of Bremen.
