Grayslake Central on target at Grant
Grayslake Central's girls basketball team hit 9 of 9 free throws in the fourth quarter to seal a 51-38 nonconference victory over host Grant on Tuesday.
The Rams were 13 of 15 from the line for the game.
Kelly Moroney topped Grayslake Central with 12 points. She hit all four of her fourth quarter free throws.
Freshman Rosie Drevline added 11 points for Grayslake Central, which improves to 10-10.
Grant, which drops to 12-8, got a team-high 12 points out of Mallory Harrity while Jasmine Sangster added 9 points.
The loss stopped Grant's three-game winning streak.
