Walk through Japanese garden in winter

Preservation Partners of the Fox Valley will present a Winter Walk through the Fabyan Japanese Garden at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23.

Winter Walks are guided tours that start at 1 p.m. at the west garden gate of the Fabyan Japanese Garden. The tour will last approximately 35 minutes.

Winter boots and warm weather wear are highly recommended. A suggested donation of $3 per person is appreciated. The tour will include a history of the garden as well as highlights of what makes a Japanese Garden so special in the winter. Hot beverages will be offered at the end of the tour. The Fabyan Japanese Garden is within the Fabyan West Forest Preserve off Route 31, Batavia Avenue, in Geneva. No reservations are required. Visit www.ppfv.org.
