Anti-Valentines Day - Shred Your Ex!

Aurora, IL - February, 13th, 2016 - While many places all over town will showcase heart bal-loons, "two for one" specials, and prix fix meals for couples, iLoveKickboxing.com fitness studios will hold a special event of a completely different kind. It's an "Anti-Valentine's Day" event for all of the single women and men of the studios. Not only will members "shred" some calories on February 13th, they'll also get to "shred" their ex's.

" 'Shred your Ex' will allow you to punch and kick all of your ex's without being called 'crazy' or finding yourself in the local police Precinct," stated an iLoveKickboxing instructor.

Throughout all classes on Valentine's Day, members nationwide will have the opportunity to tape photos of "old flames" to the kickboxing heavy bags. Then they'll punch, kick, and land spinning back fists to the photos all in the name of love (or should we say "hate?").

"We wanted to take the opposite approach and do something for those who don't have a signifi-cant other," stated Kelly Murray, an iLoveKickboxing manager.

After discussing various ideas with her studios' managers and some executives from the com-pany, it was decided that doing something different on Valentine's Day was the way to go.

"We tell our members all the time to imagine the face of the person that made them mad that day on the heavy bags as they throw their combos. This gets them really fired up and burning even more calories - and it adds a lot of fun to class too. Now they won't have to pretend be-cause the face will be right in front of them!" Murray stated.

"Shred Your Ex" is not a singles-only event though. Members are also invited to print out photos of their bosses, ex-friends, in-laws, and anyone they're not all too happy with. If members don't have ill feelings towards anyone, they're invited to tape up a random photo or cartoon.

"Shred Your Ex" joins a long list of events iLoveKickboxing.com studios host throughout the year. From live DJ events to member mixers and appreciation parties, the fitness franchise is always sure to have something a little special for its members.

"I don't know about you but I'm going to be taking Kickboxing classes on Valentine's Day and so will a lot of other members!" Murray stated. "Let's give them a place to let their anger out and have fun and not feel so alone on Valentine's Day."
