Honor flights valuable for vets

A big thank you for the wonderful article about "honor flight Chicago." Yes, the activity was well organized. We were treated like kings. Our guardians were fantastic.

Two highlights: mail call letters and the most emotional welcome back to Midway Airport. What a surprise!

More than 5,000 vets have been on the flights to date. Another 1,000-plus, the remaining vets in the Chicago area, will have an opportunity of the trip. The vets from the Korean and Vietnam wars should be honored, since they received no such honor.
