Longmeadow Church Hosts Live Event Series

Longmeadow Church will be hosting "A Walk Thru the Old Testament" live event series in six consecutive Sundays, beginning Sunday, January 17,and concluding Sunday, February 21. Longmeadow will take what is normally a 1-day event and spread it over six weeks. Due to the unique process of this event, over 90% of the participants will remember the main people, places and events in the Old Testament. Using the exclusive Walk Thru the Bible hand signs memory system, participants will experience and memorize the Old Testament like never before. The interactive, memorable, relevant, exciting and fun event will take place at Longmeadow Church, located at 28566 N. Lemon Road in Mundelein, during its Sunday service start time of 11 am for six Sundays beginning on January 17, 2016.

"This event takes the mystery out of the Old Testament and enables everyone to understand how it relates to our lives today. And it's a lot of fun!" said Pastor Ward Cushman.

Cushman will be leading the event series, which has been taught by certified teachers for 40 years. He has been an instructor for the event series since 1993 and has led hundreds of events throughout the country. Cushman played a crucial role in relaunching Longmeadow Church, which recently came about in September 2015. The church had been in Mundelein for 28 years, but Cushman, the leadership and the congregation felt it was necessary to completely change the church, renaming it and starting afresh with a new mission directed to making a bigger difference through community commitment.
