Free Concert to Remember Martin Luther King, Jr.

First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights will present the Northwestern Community Ensemble (Gospel Choir) in a free concert to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on Sunday, January 17 at 4:00 pm. Founded in 1971, the Northwestern Community Ensemble (NCE) performs spiritual, gospel, and anthem music from the black Christian tradition. NCE seeks to provide Northwestern's African American community, as well as the broader Northwestern community, opportunities to engage with black culture, gospel music, and the Christian faith through concerts and other performances.

This free concert is part of the 2015-2016 Concert Series season at First Presbyterian. All concert events are free and open to the public, with free child care provided. The concert will be webcast at www.fpcah.org/webcast. First Presbyterian Church is at 302 N. Dunton Ave. in Arlington Heights.
