Let's end smoke-and-mirrors tax reform

According to Forbes Magazine, Lake County alone pays the highest property taxes in the Midwest.

If Gov. Rauner wants to work at a bipartisan way to help relieve property tax burdens to the residents of Lake County and to Illinois, I wound suggest he speak to some of our legislators, like state Rep Sam Yingling, who have put up legislation to deal with this matter.

Let's stop playing the smoke-and-mirror games and actually get something done for the greater good.
