Elgin 360 Club to get tips on event photography

Elgin 360 Photography Club

The Elgin 360 Photography Club invites the public to learn more about event photography from Terry Murphy of Rock Heart Photography. Murphy has been photographing the local music scene for years and will share some of his work as well as tips and techniques for photographing concerts and events.

The next Elgin 360 meeting takes place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, upstairs at Side Street Studio Arts' Next Door Theater, 15½ Ziegler Court in downtown Elgin. The evening begins with a social half-hour until 7:30 p.m. followed by the presentation from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
