Student aid workshop at Maine West on Tuesday

Students and their parents who will be applying for federal student aid for college are invited to attend a workshop Tuesday in Des Plaines.

The Illinois Student Assistance Commission is conducting the session at 7 p.m. at Maine West High School, 1755 S. Wolf Road. Students from any high school are welcome to attend, according to a news release from state Rep. Marty Moylan.

Attendees should bring information including social security numbers; records of income such as tax returns; information about assets such as savings accounts, stock options and investment real estate; driver's license numbers; and dates of marriages, separations and divorces.
