Indiana man allegedly pulled wife's hair during argument

MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) - A Muncie man faces charges for allegedly ripping some hair from his wife's head during an argument.

The (Muncie) Star Press reports (http://tspne.ws/1OpfEz9 ) Shawn Turner Cole was preliminary charged this week with domestic battery.

Authorities say the 52-year-old was intoxicated when they arrived at the house. A police report says the disagreement with his wife appeared to stem from a cellphone bill. Officers say Cole was "argumentative and uncooperative" at the scene.

No listed phone number for Cole could be located on Saturday. It was immediately unclear if he has an attorney.

Online records for the Delaware County Jail show he was booked into custody on Tuesday.
