Missing man found in Morton Grove

A man who went missing Dec. 17 near Des Plaines has since been found, the Cook County sheriff's office said.

William R. Anderson, 79, was found Thursday afternoon by Morton Grove police at a motel on the 9100 block of Waukegan Road.

He appeared to be in good condition and was taken to a hospital for evaluation, police said.
