Police want help finding man who went missing near Des Plaines

The public is being asked to help find a man who went missing Dec. 17 near Des Plaines.
The man may try to harm himself, according to a news release Monday from Cook County Sheriff Thomas J. Dart.
William R. Anderson, 79, is white, 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighs about 250 pounds, and has a fair complexion, gray hair and hazel eyes. He may be driving a blue 2006 Ford Focus, with Illinois license plates BT 3644.
