Night life events: NYE parties heating up

Villagio's NYE fashion show

Villagio hosts a New Year's Eve fashion show beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, with champagne, hors d'oeuvres and a fashion show featuring Sarar and Max Studio. The evening is $25 per person and includes two glasses of champagne per person. Upgrade to a three-course prix fixe menu for $100 per person. Villagio is at Fashion Outlets of Chicago in Rosemont. El Tapeo's NYE

It's dinner and a party at El Tapeo on New Year's Eve. Join the second seating between 9 and 10:30 p.m. Thursday and enjoy a complimentary glass of sangria or sparkling champagne and a prix fixe, three-course meal for $85 per person. Bandito's wine Wednesdays

Bandito Barney's Beach Club and Bordella hosts a weekly wine night every Wednesday. From 6 to 9 p.m., try tastings of six different wines for $10. Wine selections vary from week to week.
