DVD previews: 'Hitman: Agent 47,' 'The Perfect Guy'

Here's a look at DVDs coming out Tuesday, Dec. 29:

“Hitman: Agent 47” (R, 96 minutes, Fox): Action-thriller based on a video game and set in Singapore. The Washington Post's Stephanie Merry described it as “a soulless, joyless ‘Bourne'-movie wannabe ... (it) is at least consistently stylish, though its tone is less assured.” Contains strong violence and language. Extras include deleted scenes, “The Hit Counter,” “Re-Imagining Hitman,” “Ultimate Action: Staging the Fights,” “Hitman: Agent 47” comic, “Making of the Comic Book,” promotional featurettes, gallery, poster gallery and theatrical trailers.

“The Perfect Guy” (PG-13, 100 minutes, Sony): Poorly reviewed woman-in-jeopardy drama starring Sanaa Lathan, who finds herself in a romantic triangle with Morris Chestnut and Michael Ealy as the titular character. (Spoiler: He's not, by a long shot.) Contains violence, menace, sexuality and brief strong language. Extras include “Lust and Obsession: Making The Perfect Guy” featurette.

Also: “Bone Tomahawk” (Western starring Kurt Russell as a sheriff who leads a posse to rescue a group of captives from cannibalistic cave dwellers) and “Jenny's Wedding” (Katherine Heigl plays a woman who has to come out to her family when she decides to marry her girlfriend).

Television series: “Shameless: The Complete Fifth Season” (three-disc DVD and two-disc Blu-ray sets with all 13 episodes).
