Portis steps up, makes a difference vs. Thunder

OKLAHOMA CITY - Bobby Portis made a difference.

Not THE difference. But the rookie from Arkansas appeared comfortable in a big moment - playing against the talented Thunder on the road in a nationally televised game. Portis scored 7 points - including a three-pointer - and had 4 rebounds in 20 minutes and made an impact just by being aggressive and active in the Bulls' 105-96 victory Friday at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

"It feels great," Portis said. "I worked hard to this point to hear my number called. I just tried to go out and produce a little bit. And I feel like I did that today."
