Coat drive continues through Jan. 18 in Rosemont

A coat drive continues through Jan. 18 at Northwestern College's administrative offices in Rosemont.

So far, the school has collected more than 100 coats, as well as 42 scarves, 35 pairs of gloves and 29 hats. Officials are partnering with One Warm Coat, a nonprofit that will provide the gently used coats to local agencies to distribute to children in need this winter. A large donation box is in the lobby of the college offices, 9501 Technology Drive, just steps east of the Fashion Outlets of Chicago mall and immediately behind the Loews Chicago O'Hare Hotel on River Road. Coats, hats, gloves and other winter clothing is accepted during normal business hours.
