• FONA International, based in Geneva, has named Amy McDonald and T.J. Widuch as executive vice presidents, appointing them to lead overall revenue generation efforts for the flavor company. Together, the pair has more than 45 years of experience in the flavor industry.

McDonald, previously FONA's vice president of sales, communications and marketing, joined FONA in 2006. During her time with the company, she has guided FONA's efforts to develop innovative programs and processes to serve customer needs. She led sales team efforts to deliver results with speed, efficiency and to foster quality partnerships.

Widuch was the company's fourth employee in 1987. During his 28 years with FONA, he held positions in purchasing, customer service, operations, and most recently, as executive vice president and managing director of international business.Widuch has and continues to play a key role in FONA's international growth.

• Janet Cannon has been named sales director for Windsor Park, a continuing care retirement community in Carol Stream administered by Covenant Retirement Communities. She will report to interim Executive Director Joe Xanthopoulos. A veteran sales professional with more than 15 years of experience, Cannon will oversee marketing efforts and lead the sales program for the retirement community's 290 residential retirement apartments, which include studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences and 62 duplex homes. Before joining Windsor Park, she was residency counselor at The Clare, a Senior Care Development affiliated community managed by Life Care Services in Chicago. Before that, she was community relations director at Emeritus Senior Living in Prospect Heights. For more than a decade, Cannon managed sales and marketing efforts at the director and regional levels for companies servicing consumers and education professionals, including Market Day, Itasca, where she served as director of sales and director of business development, respectively. Cannon has a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from Northeastern Illinois University, Chicago.

• Northern Builders, based in Schiller Park, announced Kenneth L. Nyenhuis joined the firm as project executive. He will be overseeing all aspects of new initiatives including land planning, design and engineering, and construction methods while working closely with Northern's estimating, construction and development departments. "Ken's 37 years of experience in the construction industry will greatly benefit Northern's operations. We are pleased to bring Ken's diverse background and knowledge to our organization," President and CEO Thomas D. Grusecki said.

• Chicago Title Insurance Company has hired Dan Halperin as an executive account manager. He will direct sales of the company's services to residential real estate clients in Northbrook and Skokie. Halperin, a licensed attorney in Illinois, previously served as a senior specialist for Salesforce. He earned both his bachelor's degree and juris doctor degree from the University of Illinois.

• CF Industries Holdings based in Lake Forest named Christopher D. Bohn senior vice president of manufacturing, effective Jan. 1, 2016. Bohn will replace Phillip P. Koch, who will retire on March 4, 2016. Bohn will oversee the company's nine nitrogen complexes in Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. He will also be responsible for the company's distribution facilities operation, corporate engineering, environmental health and safety. Bohn, who joined CF in 2009, most recently led CF's supply chain group, a role he has held since January 2014. He also previously served as the company's vice president, corporate planning. Prior to joining CF, Bohn served as chief financial officer for Hess Print Solutions.

Earlier in his career, he was vice president global financial planning and analysis for Merisant Worldwide, Inc. Bohn earned his BS degree in Finance at Indiana University and also holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

• Baxter & Woodman in Crytsal Lake has promoted Deborah Finn, CPSM to chief marketing officer. Finn, who serves on the firm's board of directors, joined the firm in 1994.

During her tenure, she has held the positions of marketing coordinator, manager, and director. She was instrumental in establishing the firm's marketing business practices, and currently manages business development, proposal generation, promotional activities, and corporate communications.

In her role as CMO, Finn is responsible for all aspects of marketing and will direct the business development efforts for eight regional offices to ensure the firm's business plan for growth.

• Invest Aurora, Aurora's economic development partnership hired Judy Dawson as development specialist. Dawson will spearhead Invest Aurora's business retention efforts, focusing on conducting one-on-one retention visits, organizing monthly business forums, and assisting Aurora-based businesses to grow and succeed. Dawson brings over 20 years of sales, sales management and market development experience with companies such as AT&T and SBC/Ameritech.

She was previously ScaleUp Aurora's project manager, wher she developed a strong community network of partners, sponsors and stakeholders and conducted cohort training sessions. Dawson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and a Masters of Business Administration, Management from American Intercontinental University in Schaumburg.

• Oak Trace lifestyle community in Downers Grove has named Lynn Woods as its new executive director. Woods is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at the community, which features 219 residential living apartment homes and a variety of services and amenities for its 400 residents. The community also offers on-site health services and residential options that include catered living, memory support, skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation. Prior to joining Oak Trace, Woods served as executive director for Brookdale Senior Living, overseeing and supervising all operations at a retirement community and all health services. She also previously held senior leadership positions at Alden Management Services and Sunrise Senior Living. Woods earned her bachelor's degree in recreation administration and psychology from Eastern Illinois University.
