Lambs Farm receives $12,500 donation

Lambs Farm has received a $12,500 Partners in Giving donation: $5,000 from Nationwide Private Client and $7,500 from Alper Services. The money will help provide services to adults with developmental disabilities.

Lambs Farm is a nonprofit organization that helps adults with developmental disabilities lead productive, happy lives. Based near Libertyville, Lambs Farm strives to maintain exemplary vocational, residential, wellness, social and recreational programs to help people grow.

"We are honored to have been chosen by Nationwide Private Client and Alper Services for their charitable donation," Lambs Farm President and CEO Dianne Yaconetti said. "This generous support will fund vital quality of life programs that help the men and women we serve."

Nationwide, a Fortune 100 company based in Columbus, Ohio, is one of the largest diversified insurance and financial services organizations in the United States and is rated A+ by both A.M. Best and Standard & Poor's.

Located in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago, Alper Services provides workers' compensation, commercial property and casualty insurance, claims management, private life insurance, personal insurance, financial services and more.

Private Client is Nationwide's personal lines carrier focused on the affluent market. Its appointed independent agents are offered an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others with charitable donations in their local communities through the Partners in Giving program.

"People care deeply about organizations with a social mission. They are more likely to support businesses that share their commitment to making a difference," Nationwide distribution, sales and marketing executive Molly Rondeau said.

"Partners in Giving enables Private Client agents to direct donations to one of the charitable organizations we support, with an emphasis on strengthening our communities and improving people's lives."

"Alper Services has a rich history of giving back. We have chosen Lambs Farm as the recipient of our donation because they are a nationally recognized advocate for people with developmental disabilities," Alper Services Senior Vice President Chris Breck said.

"The work they do and opportunities they create allow many to lead happy and productive lives."
