English as foreign language at CLC

College of Lake County will have a new, 12-credit-hour certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. CLC board members this month approved the course, effective Aug. 15, 2016. The certificate is often required to teach English in non-English speaking countries and is appropriate for current teachers who want to expand their knowledge and credential base, college officials said.
