Effort to make CLC early voting site

Acting on a request from the Student Government Association, the College of Lake County board formally agreed to seek making the flagship Grayslake campus an early voting center. Officials said Student Government Association President Connor Mallon asked for the board's formal support, citing the convenience the designation would offer students and college staff. Student Trustee Yesenia Mata said about 700 pupils so far have signed a petition asking the county clerk's office to approve the college as an early voting site.
