Barrington Relay For Life to host 2016 kickoff event

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Barrington will have a kickoff event on Jan. 13, to launch the new year's fundraising efforts.

The kickoff will honor cancer survivors and caregivers. Team leaders will share plans, a meal and refreshments.

Next year will be the 19th annual Relay For Life of Barrington, which has raised over $4.5 million in funds to support the mission of the American Cancer Society to save lives by helping people stay well, by helping people get well, by finding cures, and fighting back.
