Buried treasure and the nanny photographer at the Geneva library

Jenny Riddle will provide a dramatic book review of "Vivian Maier: Out of the Shadows" from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, at the Geneva Public Library, 127 James St.

Riddle portrays Maier, a 1960s North Shore nanny and a Chicago street photographer whose remarkable gift for photography has posthumously taken the world by storm. It is based on the book, "Vivian Maier: Out of the Shadows" by Richard Cahan and Michael Williams.
