Handbell ensemble delights music lovers at Ela library

The Chicago Bronze English Handbell Ensemble brought its sounds of the season to the Ela Area Public Library in Lake Zurich on Sunday.

The winter concert included songs "Up on the Housetop," "All I Want for Christmas is You" and selections from "The Nutcracker Suite."

The ensemble, which started in 1999, is made up of musicians from across the Chicago area. The group's mission is to promote the highest artistic quality, and to stimulate greater understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of handbell music by all segments of society.
