Lee Daniels to head College of DuPage presidential search

A former speaker of the Illinois House, Lee Daniels, will serve as chairman of the College of DuPage's presidential search committee, the school announced Friday.

Daniels currently serves as a trustee of Kite Realty Group Trust and a director of Inland Real Estate Income Trust, Inc. He also serves as the chairman for Haymarket Center in Chicago.

He already was a member of the college's 18-member search committee.

The search for a new president officially began Nov. 19 when the board of trustees chose Hay & Company of Chicago to help fill the positions of president, chief financial officer, controller and vice president for development/executive director of the COD Foundation.

On Monday, the committee will host two open forums, one at 4 p.m. and the second at 7 p.m., in the Student Services Center, Room 2206, on the school's main campus in Glen Ellyn.
