Images: Icons of North Aurora

What do you think of when you think of North Aurora? I think of the Fox River, suburban development and fried lemon pies.

And Oberweis milk. The auto mall where I bought my Saturn Vue. The dam near village hall, and riverside parks and trails. The relatively new police station.

And a young man who gave his life in service to our country not too long ago.

Look for a new “Icons of ...” town gallery every Sunday at dailyherald.com/galleries and on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. On our social media sites, share your favorite North Aurora photos with us by using #shareyoursuburb.

And tell us what photos are your favorites. Which ones stir a memory for you? Where do you love to go in town?
