Grain mostly higher, livestock mixed
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for March delivery was 2.50 cents higher at $4.9220 a bushel; March corn was up 3 cents to $3.7660 a bushel; March oats were .50 cent lower at $2.3740 a bushel; while January soybeans gained .25 cent at 8.77 a bushel.
Beef higher and pork were mixed the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
February live cattle was 1.28 cents higher at $1.2543 a pound; January feeder cattle was .73 cent higher at $1.5135 a pound; February lean hogs gained .03 cent to $.5928 a pound.
