Bartlett installing six new stop signs along Morse Avenue

The Bartlett Public Works Department on Wednesday began installing new stop signs at six intersections along Morse Avenue to slow traffic in a residential area.

The village board approved the stop signs at their Nov. 17 board meeting.

Morse Avenue will serve as the through street at all six intersections, and the stop signs will be installed on the streets that cross Morse. Those streets are Tatge Avenue, Berteau Avenue, Marion Avenue, Chase Avenue, Hale Avenue and eastbound on Prospect Avenue.

The village expects installation will be complete by Dec. 16.
