Arkansas' Hunter Henry named winner of John Mackey Award
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas tight end Hunter Henry has been named winner of the 2015 John Mackey Award.
The university said Wednesday that Henry has been chosen as the winner of the award named for NFL Hall of Famer John Mackey and given annually to the player selected as the top tight end in college football.
Henry said in a statement from the university that the award is "an honor and a blessing" and "a dream come true."
Henry has caught 46 passes this season for 647 yards and three touchdowns.
Henry is the second Razorback to win the award, following 2010 recipient D.J. Williams.
