Soles4Souls Shoe Drive Collects 466 Pairs of Shoes

When Zack Murphy, a junior at Fremd High School, decided to organize a shoe drive, he set a goal of collecting 100 pairs of shoes to donate to Soles4Souls, a nonprofit international anti-poverty organization.

However, he soon realized that he had underestimated just how generous his peers, friends, neighbors and members of the community could be. Thanks to the donations collected, Murphy was able to donate 466 pairs of shoes to Soles4Souls.

The collected shoes were delivered personally by Murphy to the Soles4Souls headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee, last week where they will be distributed to people in need.
