Westminster Christian overcomes slow start

Westminster Christian 58, Christian Liberty 51: The Warriors (5-1, 1-0) opened up Northeastern Athletic action with a road victory over the Chargers despite trailing 11-0 at one point in the first quarter. Dillon Rejman and Brad Barker each poured in 13 points while Ben Versluys added 11.

Faith Lutheran 74, Elgin Academy 65: The Hilltoppers (1-3) registered 4 players in double digits against the Saints, but it still wasn't enough to come away with a nonconference win. Dee Robinson led Elgin Academy with 18 points while Kevin Kuykendall chipped in 16. Jordan Hare added 11 points and Elliott Wittmeyer had 10.
