Cubs announce spring training schedule for 2016

The Cubs, who won 97 games last season and reached the National League championship series, will begin Cactus League play in spring training on March 3 against the Milwaukee Brewers in Maryvale. They will host the Los Angeles Angels for their Sloan Park home opener on March 4 in Glendale, Arizona.

The Cubs and White Sox will paly March 12 in Mesa and March 18 in Glendale. Their final game at Sloan Park is March 30, then they will travel to Las Vegas to play the Mets March 31-April 1 before playing a final exhibition game against the Angels on April 3 at Angel Stadium.
