Wellness seminar in Waukegan

Trinity African Methodist Episcopal Church will host its third annual wellness seminar from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, at the church, 210 South Ave., Waukegan.

The free seminar will help individuals manage stress and maximize wellness during the holiday season. The Rev. Wanda Henry-Jenkins will be the lecturer. Caregivers, people who are grieving or mourning the loss of loved ones, or people who are facing difficult and strenuous times are invited and encouraged to attend. The general public also is invited.

Registration begins at 11 a.m., the seminar begins at 11:30 a.m. A light lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. A candle lighting service at 1 p.m. will conclude the activities. Advance registration is required, so call the church office at (847) 623-8529 to RSVP no later than Sunday Dec. 6.
