Lake County sheriff seeks suspect who stole credit card at school

The Lake County sheriff's office is looking for a man they believe stole a debit card and a credit card from a teacher at Woodland Elementary School in Gages Lake on Monday.

The teacher notified school administration, who began investigating and found surveillance video showing a black man a entering the school around 4:15 p.m. on Monday then entering a classroom and leaving the school, police said.

The victim told deputies the items were missing from her purse, and unauthorized purchases were made Monday after they were stolen, officials added.
