Grain mostly higher, livestock mixed
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for March delivery was 1.50 cents higher at $4.8040 a bushel; March corn was up 1.50 cents higher to $3.7840 a bushel; March oats were 3.25 cents higher at $2.43 a bushel; while January soybeans was unchanged at 8.9740 a bushel.
Beef higher and pork were lower the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
February live cattle was .63 cent higher at $1.3008 a pound; January feeder cattle was .78 cent lower at $1.6053 a pound; February lean hogs lost .45 cent to $.5838 a pound.
