CFC accepting applications for 2016 internships

Citizens for Conservation is currently taking applications for its 2016 Summer Internship Program. The program is offered to college students majoring in the environmental sciences.

Interns will actively participate in the ongoing restoration of CFC properties. Activities include planting native vegetation, seed gathering, weeding, brush cutting and the removal of invasive species.

The interns experience restoration techniques being undertaken at various stages of the land management/restoration cycle.

In addition to the restoration activities, interns assist in the CFC Youth Education program by working with children in activities designed to inspire and encourage the involvement of future environmentalists.

Interested candidates should email a resume or direct questions to cfc@citizensforconservation.org; Attention: Intern chairman Ralph Tarquino.
