Great Lakes Credit Union merges with Phone-Co

Great Lakes Credit Union completed its merger with Phone-Co Credit Union in Chicago.

GLCU's new branch is at 225 W. Randolph St. inside the AT&T Corporate building on the first floor. The branch is open to the public and can be accessed from Franklin Street.

"It is always exciting when we move into a new area and can offer our merging members access to an array of products and services they did not have previously," says President an CEO Vikki Kaiser. "The Chicago branch is our 14th in the Chicagoland area. Not only can members easily visit any of our branch locations, but they can also take advantage of the shared branching network and hundreds of fee free ATMs to access their Great Lakes Credit Union accounts."

This is the third merger for GLCU this year.

The credit union has more than 70,000 members and almost $700 million in assets. GLCU is headquartered in Bannockburn and has branches located in Antioch, Bolingbrook, Chicago, Country Club Hills, Crystal Lake, Gurnee, Naperville, North Chicago, Oak Lawn, Round Lake Beach, Waukegan, Woodstock, Willow Springs, and Zion.
