Name calling a sign of no tolerance

I must answer the letter you printed by Mr. Tony Novak in which be objected to piercing questions by interviewers to his favorite candidates.

Firstly, he accused them of bias although I have witnessed elections that the media mostly favor Republicans. So in my experience (I'm almost 89), I guess I could claim Republican bias on the part of the media.

However, I think that all candidates should be ready to answer any pertinent question, I also object to the name calling of "communist" of those of us who disagree politically with Mr. Novak.

Name calling is the tactic of those who really have no argument and who have no tolerance for opinions of others. In a free society we can have and espouse a myriad of opinions openly. I wonder if Mr. Novak would want to do away with that.
