WHAT'S AT STAKE

Florida State still has an outside shot at a New Year's Six bowl game but must win on Saturday and next week at No. 8 Florida to have a chance. Sean Maguire has been named the starting quarterback after throwing for two touchdowns and 231 yards in last Saturday's 34-17 win over North Carolina State. Chattanooga is headed to the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs after winning the Southern Conference for the third straight year.

KEY MATCHUP

Florida State defensive line against Chattanooga senior QB Jacob Huesman. For the second time this season, the Seminoles face a true option team. They did a good job containing Georgia Tech's running game. Huesman, who needs 3 yards rushing to reach 1,000 for the second straight season, is only the fourth player in FCS history to have 40 rushing touchdowns and 40 touchdown passes in his career. He has 40 rushing and 59 passing touchdowns.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Chattanooga: RB Derrick Crane has 12 rushing touchdowns, which is 11th in FCS. The junior has four 100-yard games in his past six and needs 34 yards for his first 1,000-yard season.

Florida State: RB Dalvin Cook is second in FBS, averaging 152.1 yards rushing per game, and his 8.1 yards per carry leads Power Five conference running backs.

Chattanooga has had more passing yards than rushing in only two games this season. .. This is the 10th time since 2008 that the Mocs will face an FBS team.
