House of Hope shop opens in Lake Zurich

House of Hope Resale shop opened Wednesday in the Deerpath Commons mall on Rand Road in Lake Zurich.

On Monday, the Lake Zurich village board approved a temporary 90-day special-use permit allowing House of Hope to operate in the mall, allowing the store could capture Christmas gift sales.

Launched in 2001, House of Hope raises money for the Project Hope ministry at St. Anne Catholic Community in Barrington. The ministry helps individuals and families in crisis, as well as other charitable causes.
